Raja Hijau of Pattani

Her name means "the Green Queen". She was also known as the 'great queen of Pattani'. Pattani Kingdom (1516-1902) was a historical sultanate in current day southern Thailand and northern Malaysia. It reached its  zenith during the rule of the four queens of Pattani, Raja Hijau, Raja Biru, Raja Ungu, and Raja Kuning. These queens of Pattani were in fact queen regents, rulers in their own rights.
